The questions used in both the IYCQ™ and IYSS™ products have been developed and tested over a number of years on numerous customers in different industries. In so doing, The Gosling Group has developed a generic set of standard questions for surveys relating to both employee satisfaction and customer satisfaction respectively.
As such, the questions featured as standard in both products are not industry specific and can be applied to all types of companies from small through to large. The major benefit of this is that true benchmarking across companies and across industries can be made just by using these standard products.
However, it is still possible to customise both the IYCQ™ and IYSS™ products to meet your company's survey requirements, if so desired:
The standard level of customisation available on both the IYCQ™ and IYSS™ products are as follows:
- Your own logon procedure for the survey
- Your own 4 Key Business Areas
- Your own set of 21 questions for the Dynamic Questionnaire
Engine™
- Up to three of your own custom questions (for the IYSS's
'additional questions' page)
- Your own company logo on each page of the questionnaire
- Your own summary display (shown to respondent on questionnaire
completion)
All standard levels of customisation maintain the "look and feel" of the IYCQ™ product family. If customers also wish to customise the "look and feel" of the standard products, they are recommended to use the licensing option for the Dynamic Questionnaire Engine™ technology, which enables them to integrate the technology into their own products.

Please note that when customising both the IYCQ™ and IYSS™ products, the Dynamic Questionnaire Engine™ expects particular conditions to be met in order to function correctly.
